WESTERN CAPE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I grew up in Botswana, where my childhood was spent finding every excuse to be outdoors. Looking back, it was the kind of freedom you don’t really appreciate until you’re older.
I was a massive introvert. The idea of walking up to someone I didn’t know and starting a conversation? Absolutely not.
Eventually, life took me to a little Boland dorpie before I moved to Cape Town to study Graphic Design. Wedding Photography wasn’t the plan….I just thought cameras looked cool.
Turns out, it was one of the best impulse purchases I’ve ever made.
What started as taking photos quickly became something I couldn’t get enough of. I loved the creative side of it. Chasing good light, finding interesting compositions and looking at places a little differently.
The surprising part?
It wasn’t the camera that changed me.
It was the people.
MY APPROACH

By the time your wedding day arrives, I don’t want to feel like the photographer you’ve hired. I want to feel like you’ve hired an extra wingman. Someone you can message when you’re unsure about your timeline. Someone who’ll tell you everything is going to be okay when the weather forecast changes for the tenth time. Someone who’ll make you laugh when the nerves kick in and quietly sort out the little things that nobody else notices.
Because when you’re comfortable, you stop thinking about the camera. That’s when the best photos happen.
Growing up in Botswana taught me something. The little moments matter. That’s why weddings mean so much to me. One day, your photos won’t just remind you what your wedding looked like.
They’ll remind you how your dad laughed during his speech. How your gran squeezed your hand before the ceremony. How your mates completely butchered the words to your favourite song on the dance floor.
How your partner looked at you when nobody else was watching. If, twenty years from now, one photograph can instantly take you back to how it all felt… Then I’d say we’ve done a pretty good job.
